My time in wine sales has taught me a lot of things. It taught me what I was willing to do to make a sale and most importantly, what I was not willing to do just to meet my monthly sales goals.

Sorry I’ve been slacking. I haven’t written a new post in weeks at this point. Life got a little out of hand, as per usual. Let’s give a quick recap of the last few weeks…

Life goes a little something like this: Wake up (ish) for plus or minus seven minutes to an alarm that is so quiet it’s astounding it’s actually doing a good job of waking you up except for the fact that those tones are just so damn annoying at that hour that you’re really not surprised in the slightest that it does the trick.

Profile bios are the worst to create. In no way can 150 words define a person. Especially when that person barely knows what they want to be when they grow up even though they might happen to be a grown ass adult already who’s just confused and at a crossroads in their life and looking to pursue a new career path but aren’t 100 percent sure what that’s going to look like yet.

Do you even know how many tip posts about blogging are out there with titles like “how to crank out tons of bullshit posts to get followers in less time!” It’s like a bad used car salesman situation out there.

The new Borat movie, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm - I cringed, my jaw dropped, and I laughed my ass off… but most of all, Borat exposed the worst of us.

Based on my experiences in the car thus far, I am confident that if the car says you will make it to your final destination - you will. You just might have to go 62 miles per hour on a highway with a speed limit of 80 on occasion…
